I am Imisha Bhakta, the daughter of Bob and Raxita Bhakta of Van Horn. I am 17 years old and have lived in Van Horn for 17 years. My most rewarding class in high school was AP Biology, and the most challenging class was Dual Credit Economics. My interests include reading, spending time with friends, and playing golf.
My plans after graduation are to attend the University of Texas at San Antonio to major in Biology to later become a Physician Assistant.
My high school accomplishments include: Freshmen Year: Most Outstanding Student in both AP Biology, and English; Area Qualifiers in Marching Band. Sophomore Year: Calculator Applications- District Champs, and Regional Qualifiers. Regional Qualifying Golf Team, Regional Alternate in UIL Science. Junior Year: Division I Marching Band; Calculator Applications- District Champs, and Regional Qualifiers; Golf Team Regional Qualifiers, Girls Golf MVP; Student Council President; NHS Vice-President. Senior Year: Calculator Individual and Team District Champs, and Regional Qualifiers; Golf Individual Regional Qualifier, Student Council President, and NHS President.
