Woman dies in I-10 rollover on Wednesday

At 7:45 a.m.. on Aug. 7, the Culberson County Sheriff's Office
responded to an accident involving the rollover of a black Toyota SUV
after attempting to pass an 18-wheeler on the west bound I-10 mile
marker 167 ending up on the east bound side of the interstate.

The driver and three passengers in the SUV are from Las Cruces. The
driver, Zita Neupane, 31, was pronounced dead at the scene by Culberson
County Justice of the Peace Rita Carrasco. Her husband, 34, and two
minor boys age 16 and 2, escaped with minor and non-life threating
injuries. The accident remains under investigation.
