Eric Lee Vejar, 28, passed away in Fayetteville, N.C. on Dec. 7, 2013. He was born in Van Horn on April 6, 1985. Eric is survived by his mother Maria Chavez of Hobbs, N.M., his girlfriend Danielle Carlisle of Fayetteville, N.C., two sons: Kayson Lee Carlisle and Ethan Lockridge of Conway, S.C. and his daughter Karma Christine Carlisle of Fayetteville, N.C. He is also survived by his two brothers: Roberto and Rigoberto Nevarez of Juarez, Chihuahua, and one sister, Adriana Pineda of Phoenix, Ariz. A funeral service was held on Dec. 14, 2013 at Van Horn Church of Christ officiated by Brother Juan Palacios. A burial was held at Van Horn Cemetery. Pallbearers were: Bobbie Baeza, Benny Baeza, Johnny Rodriguez, Jaime Molinar, Tyler Carlisle, and Roberto Nevarez. Honorary Pallbearers were: Rigoberto Nevarez and Jaime Molinar Jr. Funeral Arrangements were entrusted to Carrillo Funeral Home of Van Horn.
