The Eagle Golf team played in Ft. Stockton last weekend. Ft. Stockton is by far the stiffest competition, but it’s definitely great experience for our teams. It was a little nerve-wracking the first day but our boys hung in there.
The second round was much better. We improved our team score by 22 points. Iraan is the team to beat for the boys and considering this was our first team tournament and the fact that we were only 24 strokes behind them is great news for us. Things are looking good for Eagle Golf.
Congratulations to the boys on a job well done. Good luck to the Lady Eagle Golf team as they travel this weekend to compete in the Ft. Stockton Invitational. GO EAGLES!
