Dear Editor:
On behalf of the City of Valentine we would like to publicly thank Big Bend Brewing Company for the huge and beautiful Valentine’s Day Celebration in Valentine.
We do not have an official head count, but over 1,000 people attended. Special thanks to organizer, Mercer Black Declercq. She worked tirelessly to make sure everything went well. The bands were awesome, as were the food and drink. Mercer is the best and we love her in Valentine.
Also, a big thank you to the owner, Matt Krueger. He was present and seems to be an awesome person.
And last but not least, thanks to all the people who attended. We had people from many parts of the country and everyone seemed to have had a great time.
We are already looking forward to the third annual celebration, which will occur on a Saturday next year. Start making plans to attend.
