CCAISD Superintendent Marc Puig on Tuesday gave the editor of the Advocate a tour of the the new stadium and track renovations. On a 100-degree day, construction crews were working at a frenzied pace to complete the facilities for the first home game and grand opening of the new stadium. The Eagles will play the Alpine Bucks on Friday night for the home opener. Last week, the Eagles defeated Tornillo (at Tornillo) in the season opener.Eagle fans will immediately notice that turf replaces grass and a new state-of the art track field that will host track events from schools all around the region and the state.
