That’s the question some residents are asking in the Van Horn Addition behind the Pilot/Flying J Truck Stop. As the photo shows, a few yellow reflectors were installed on these concrete barriers, but several of the reflectors have come off. The reflectors appear to have been glued on using a silicone caulking. See other photos on page 8 to get better perspective of the situation between the residents of this subdivision and the 18-wheelers using the Pilot Truck Stop. Mayor Glenn Humpries said during the council meeting on Tuesday that Pilot/Flying J officials are willing to work with the Town of Van Horn for a permanent solution to the hazardous driving conditions that currently exist on Firebush Street.
