As the students gathered in the cafeteria for the Accelerated Reader Pep Rally, music was booming and kids were bouncing.  Once everyone settled down, thanks were given to the parents, K-8 teachers, the librarian Mrs. Molinar, Aliviane, the Coaching staff and Supt. Baugh for supporting the AR program.  The little ones on the stage recited a jingle that ended with: “If I can say it, I can write it. If I can write it, I can READ it!

Awards were given to the readers that scored the highest points in each grade, as well as to the most improved readers, the kindergartners who met the 2 point or 5 point goals, and all the students who met their reading goals for the 6 weeks.
