The Lady Eagles Volleyball team will be hosting its annual Way Out West Tournament on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. As always, all volunteer help is welcomed. Please contact a coach and let them know. It will be a fantastic weekend of exciting Volleyball action.
The Lady Eagles on Tuesday came out ready to battle against a strong Fort Davis team. After a long and intense first match, the Lady Eagles were victorious. They dug deep and came back several times after being down.
The second match proved to be a bit of a challenge for the Lady Eagles. They came out swinging taking the first set, but little mistakes soon added up and the Lady Eagles had a hard time regaining their momentum.
After playing a fantastic first match the Lady Eagles have proven they are ready to start shifting their momentum into high gear. We will continue to improve on our mental stamina and communication skills.
Our girls work hard each day to be better on and off the court. They are making strides to elevate the confidence they have in themselves and their teammates. This is going to allow our team to do some really great things, really soon.
Thank you to all our Eagle Fans for their continued support. Please come out and support us Thursday as we begin pool play at our tournament.
