Cynthia Ramirez passed away Friday, May 9, 2014 in Fort Stockton at the age of 59. Cynthia was born on February 23, 1955, in El Paso, but lived more than 35 years in Fort Stockton. She worked as a waitress for many years at the Steakhouse Restaurant in Fort Stockton. Cynthia was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church. She loved her grandbabies and she delighted in creating beautiful flower arrangements.
Cynthia is survived by her daughter Abby Ramirez and Marcelino Torrez; her brother George Zimmerly; her comadre Minnie Santiago; grandchildren, Kianna Rocha and Karissa Rocha and nephews Jacob and Demarcos Luna; numerous relatives and friends.
Cynthia was preceded in death by her mother, Nicolasa Flores, father, Feliz Garza and her sister, Rosie Garza.
A Mass of Christian burial took place on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m., at St. Agnes Catholic Church in Fort Stockton. Burial followed at St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery.
