The Advocate has learned that Robert Alvarado has officially ordered a recount for the May 27 runoff election, commissioner, Precinct 2.
Mr. Alvarado received 104 votes and challenger Raul Rodriguez received 106 votes.
A recount date has not yet been determined, but it will take place in the next few days.
