The Lady Eagles continue to cruise into the playoffs. They came out on fire Tuesday as they went up against the Da Vinci Lady Dragons. They devoured the Lady Dragons in three straight sets, 25-10, 25-10, 25-9. After Tuesday’s win, the Lady Eagles are 6-0 in district and 27-8 for the season. Their record at home is 13-1.
Kianna Fierro leads the Lady Eagles with a total of 179 kills, 21 aces, and 91 blocks, including 18 solo blocks for the season. For the season, Karina Ramirez has posted 62 kills, 45 blocks, and 75 aces, Cassandra Castro with 45 kills, 15 blocks and 82 aces, Justine Quintana with 126 assists, Calise Cottrell with 60 blocks, including 6 solo blocks, Renee Rivera with 80 blocks, including 10 solo blocks, and Cami Uranga with 86 digs and 60 aces. Way to play ladies!
The Lady Eagles are fired up and hungry for another win this weekend. On Saturday, the Lady Eagles will travel to Anthony to take on the Lady Wildcats. The JV is set to play at 10 a.m. (CST) with the Varsity game to follow. Thank you to all the families, teachers, and community members for their continued support.
