Texas looks to improve from its 6-7 record in 2014

After a 6–7 record in head coach Charlie Strong’s first year that ended in a Texas Bowl loss to Arkansas, Texas opens its 2015 campaign at Notre Dame on Sept. 5. Strong has already announced that the Longhorns will play both junior Tyrone Swoopes and redshirt freshman Jerrod Heard at quarterback in the season opener as the team seeks to find a starter.

Texas will look to improve on its offense this season after ranking No. 105 in the FBS in total offensive yards and No. 108 in points per game last season.
