The Lady Eagles played the Da Vinci Lady Dragons last Saturday. Playing alongside the varsity team was the 7th grade team. Our little ladies came out today and battled against a tough Da Vinci JH team.
Da Vinci’s JH team consists of mostly 8th graders and our 7th graders made them work! Even though their errors cost them in the end, the Lady Eagles held their own and did an excellent job working on the fundamentals. They hustled and served well! It’s great to watch our young ladies work hard to be better each day. We’re super proud of their efforts.
The Varsity team came out and took care of business once again. They took down the Da Vinci Lady Dragons in 3 sets with scores of 25-7, 25-14, 25-2. Once again, the Lady Eagles had great ball movement.
We’re extremely proud of their continued efforts to come together as a team regardless of who they play. As of today, the Lady Eagles are 2-0 in district and 14-9, overall. Way to play Lady Eagles!
Tuesday, the JV-B and Varsity teams will take on the Lady Wildcats in Anthony. Our JV-A team will take on a private varsity team from El Paso, Tec de Monterrey. Both JV matches begin at 5 p.m. (CST) with the varsity to follow. Hope to see you there Eagle fans! GO EAGLES!
