Dear Editor:
Hello to all the wonderful people in Van Horn! If you recall the terrible truck/trailer/semi accident of December 27, I just want to give you an update on everyone’s condition.
Thank you, first of all, to Lisa Morton, for all of her wonderful help in helping to find their doggie, Roscoe. Unfortunately, he didn’t make it. We thank you for your vigilance in trying to locate him. Someday I am going to get out there and thank Lisa personally…she is an angel!
The McCormack family is doing well. They are all back in northeast Texas and are recovering nicely. Anthony had three broken ribs and a punctured lung. The children are back in school and are doing well. Jill endured three surgeries on back and neck, as well as her arm. She is now back here undergoing physical therapy and is doing well.
I am from a small town in northeast Texas and know how amazing small towns are. We all appreciate so much your efforts and concern. I’ll keep you posted!
