This past Saturday, April 15 & 16th, 2016, Culberson County Allamoore ISD hosted the Districts 5 and 6 Class 2A Area Meet. District 5-2A was composed of Anthony, Fort Hancock and your Van Horn Eagles. District 6-2A was composed of schools from the Lubbock Area, Including, Morton, Plains, Sundown, Sudan, Seagraves, Smyer, and Tahoka. We want to thank everyone who came out and supported the Eagle Track Team this weekend. Special Thanks to the individuals that were involved in providing the coaches and workers with lunch on Saturday. Below are the results of our Eagles in the meet. Individuals and Relay Teams that placed 4th or higher qualified for Regional Meet in 2 weeks.

Congratulations to all our Eagle Regional Qualifiers, they will compete in the Region 1, Class 2A Track Meet, which will be held on Friday – Saturday, April 29 – 30, 2016 at Ratliff Stadium in Odessa, Texas for the opportunity to Qualify for the Class 2A State Meet in Austin in May.
