Obituary— Patricia Ann Dickenson
“She was already an angel here, she will be a great warrior for God in Heaven”
Patricia Ann Dickenson, 76, of Van Horn, passed away on Saturday, February 15, 2020, with her family by her side. Born October 7, 1943, in Philadelphia, PA, she is predeceased by her parents and two siblings.
Patricia was an active member in her community, always looking for ways to help people. Everything about her was amazing, and it is difficult to choose which of her qualities to pay tribute to. Since 76 years of pure awesomeness cannot fit into this print space, we will simply note that: she was a deeply spiritual person with an uncanny sense of intuition and a kind sense of humor, she was compassionate and thoughtful. She was well articulated, and always knew exactly what to say in any situation. She was a passionate person who loved adventure, travel, a good book, deep intellectual conversation, volunteering, God, her faith, her family, sewing, cooking and baking, and was up for whatever life threw at her…she faced and overcame challenges elegantly, without missing a beat. She was a woman of faith and a prayer warrior. She lived with integrity. Also noteworthy was her timeless beauty, inside and out she was glamour and poise and breathtakingly beautiful.
Patricia is survived by 5 children, 11 grandchildren, 1 aunt (102), and her co-parent. Patricia was dearly loved, and will be greatly missed.
A Celebration of Life will be held at noon on Friday, February 21, 2020, at the Hotel El Capitan, 100 E Broadway St, Van Horn, Texas.
