Obituary— Camila “Cammy” Arnold

On Saturday May 29,2021 Camila “Cammy” Arnold, a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend, was called home and entered into eternal rest at the age of 60.

Cammy was born on April 5, 1961 in Fabens, Texas, to Eutimio and Eva Salgado. She struggled early in life with medical complications. On November 3, 1978 she married her sweetheart David Arnold, Sr. and raised two children David, Jr. and Amanda Evans.

Cammy is survived by her husband David Arnold, Sr. her son David Arnold, Jr. and her daughter Amanda Evans, she was blessed with 6 grandchildren and a ton of nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents Eutimio and Eva Salgado, and her oldest brother Eutimio Salgado, Jr.

Cammy as we all know was a jokester, loved life and had a passion for Dalmatian dogs, she loved to watch “The Bounty Hunter” and “Duck Dynasty”, and quite possibly had a crush on Uncle Sy. She also liked to sit and enjoy a Happy Meal and Zero bar while watching her favorite football team, the Dallas Cowboys. Cammy loved the color red, just about everything she wore was red and looked beautiful. She loved everyone and made friends everywhere she went. She raised many kids that were not her own and tried to help others when she could.

Funeral services will be held at Our Lady of Miracles Catholic Church in Sierra Blanca, Texas, on June 11, 2021. Officiating will be Father Frank Hernandez of Van Horn, Texas.

The Pallbearers serving will be: Charles Kanimer III, Anthony Kenimer, James Kenimer, Joe Elder, Keven Evans and Eric Virdel.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Heritage Funeral Home of Van Horn.
