Jose served the community in the many jobs that he worked; Railroad, School maintenance and bus driver, County Constable and served 18.5 years without accidents for the Texas Dept of Transportation. He was an avid 49ers fan and always willing to make a bet that they would win. Jose was a loving and caring husband, father, grandfather, and dear friend. He was always clowning around and putting bunny ears on somebody during pictures. He was always willing to go out of his way to help a friend in need. He enjoyed joking around with his therapy stuffed animal “baby chango Magilla”. He was a hard-working humble man. He was immensely blessed with his children and honored to be a part of their lives. He was very appreciative of his wife who cared for him day after day with unconditional love. Jose was happy with the few friends and family that continuously called and visited over the last several years. These few friends and family were uplifting to his spirits and were like “food for the soul”.
