Obituary— Placido Diego Nunez
Placido Diego Nunez of Van Horn, Texas, age 38, passed away on Saturday, October 2, 2021. Placido was born May 13, 1983. He was an Engineer for Intel and served time in the United States Air Force.
Diego is survived by his mother Alicia Ibanez Nunez and his father Placido “Chano” Nunez; his brother Gabriel Ibanez Nunez and his sister Anissa Nunez Quezada; his nephew ZJ Nunez, his nephew David Nunez, his great-nephew Gadiel Nunez and 2 step-nephews and 1 step-niece.
A visitation for Diego will be held Sunday, October 24, 2021 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a Rosary at 5:00 PM at Crestview Funeral Home, 1462 North Zaragoza Rd., El Paso, Texas 79936. A funeral mass will occur Monday, October 25, 2021 at 12:00 PM at St Raphael Catholic Church, 2301 Zanzibar Rd, El Paso, Texas 79925. A graveside service will occur Monday, October 25, 2021 at 1:30 PM at Fort Bliss National Cemetery, 5200 Fred Wilson Ave, El Paso, Texas 79906.
