Maria Soledad “Chole†Sanchez, 89, passed away on May 31, 2013, in Van
Horn. She was born on April 24, 1924 in Coyame, Chihuahua, Mexico.
Chole was a resident of Van Horn and a member of Our Lady of Fatima
Catholic Church. She is survived by her four daughters: Socorro
Corrales of Odessa, Irma Baeza of Van Horn, Olga Rodarte of Van Horn,
and Arcelia Baeza of Van Horn. She is also survived by her 10
grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by
her husband Eulogio Sanchez, her parents Juan and Cesaria Ramirez and
her four brothers: Daniel, Rafael, Cleto, and Juan Ramirez.
A
funeral mass, officiated by Father Mark Salas, was held on Tuesday, June
4, 2013, at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Van Horn, burial
followed at the Van Horn Cemetery. Pallbearers were her grandchildren:
Juan Carlos Rodarte, Adrian Rodarte, Gabriel Baeza, Marco Corrales,
Cesaria Baeza, and Aaron Baeza. Honorary pallbearers were Cesar Rodarte,
Pablo Baeza Jr, and Michael Baeza.
