Big Bend Community Action Committee, Inc. (BBCAC) is soliciting Request
for Proposal for the Comprehensive Energy Assistance Program for FY
2013.
Area covered is around 24,000 square miles and includes
the following counties Brewster, Culberson, Hudspeth, Jeff Davis and
Presidio. Contractor will service andor repair central systems, install
Window Air Conditioner Units, Window Air Conditioner unit with Heat,
and Electric Heaters in eligible low income dwellings.
These
services are delivered pursuant to the (CEAP) Comprehensive Energy
Assistance Program. Contractor must be Licensed Air
Conditioning/Refrigeration, Licensed Electrician. RFP package may be
obtained during normal working hours, (8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday thru
Friday) from Emma Vasquez, Executive Director or Gloria Garcia CEAP
Coordinator at BBCAC, 1412 W. Berlin St., Marfa, Texas. RFP in
response to this solicitation must be received in the BBCAC office 1412
W. Berlin St., Marfa, Texas 79843 no later than 3:00 p.m.(CST), on June
18, 2013. Request for Proposal may be mailed to BBCAC, P.O. Box 265
Marfa, Texas 79843.
All proposals must be in a sealed
envelope marked “Comprehensive Energy Assistance Programâ€. The
respondents name and address shall also be included on the sealed
envelope. BBCAC shall not be responsible for late or delayed delivery.
A public bid opening will be held June 19, 2013 at 1:30 p.m. at Big
Bend Community Action 1412 W. Berlin St. Marfa, Texas. Bid will be
awarded on June 24, 2013.
