Agustina Murillo Hernandez, 83, entered into eternal life on Wednesday, March 19, 2014.
Viewing was held on Friday, March 21, 2014 at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church. Rosary was lead by Sister Margie Siguera on Friday evening. Funeral Mass was celebrated on Saturday, March 22, 2014 at Our Lady of Fatima Church with Father Saul Pacheco officiating. Holy burial followed the mass in the Van Horn Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers were: Fernando Villalobos, Fredrick Balcazar, Carlos Hernandez, Christopher Balcazar, Guadalupe Carreon, and David Woehler. Funeral services entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home of Fort Stockton.
Ms. Hernandez was born on September 22, 1931 in El Porvenir, Chihuahua, Mexico to Macario and Francisca Garcia Murillo. On January 26, 1950 in El Porvenir, Chihuahua, Mexico, Agustina entered into marriage with Trinidad Hernandez, Sr. She had worked for many years as a cook at the Nutrition Center. Mrs. Hernandez was a member of the Guadalupanas and an devoted Catholic. Agustina was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend who will be greatly missed, but will forever remain in our hearts.
Agustina is preceded in death by her husband, Trinidad Hernandez, Sr.; her parents, Macario and Francisca Murillo; one brother and one sister.
Agustina is survived by her two daughters, Carmen Villalobos and her husband Refugio of Odessa and Mellie Balcazar and her husband David of Van Horn; her son, Trinidad Hernandez, Jr. and his wife Lydia of Odessa; her two sisters, Mercedes Hernandez of El Porvenir, Chihuahua, Mexico and Marina Ramirez of Miami, Arizona; her three brothers, Jose Murillo and his wife Angelita of Tyler, Texas, Salome Murillo of Cedillos, Mexico, and Guadalupe Murillo and his wife Martha of Artesia, New Mexico; her seven grandchildren; her 14 great grandchildren; her numerous nieces and nephews; and her many friends.
