Armando Garcia 76, of Van Horn passed away on September 7, 2014 in Van Horn.
A rosary is scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 11, 2014 at Our Lady of Fatima at 7 p.m. Mass will be held on Friday September 12, 2014 at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Fatima with burial following at the Van Horn Cemetery. Arrangements are by Heritage Funeral Home of Van Horn.
Armando was born in Mexico to Rebecca Granados and Lorenzo Garcia on October 25, 1938. Armando worked for the City of Van Horn in the water department and retired after 26 years of service. Mr. Garcia is preceded in death by his wife Elvira Holguin Garcia and his parents Lorenzo and Rebecca Garcia.
Armando is survived by his daughters Elisa Barnes, and husband Joe of Austin, Rebecca Hernandez and husband Noel of Wichita Falls, grandchildren; Kaleb Hernandez and wife Krista, Kathy Delph, Kara Hernandez and Konnar Barnes, and one great grandchild, Khloe Hernandez.
Services were entrusted to Legacy Funeral Home Van Horn.
