Dear Editor:
The front page of the ADVOCATE, September 11, in color, made me want to shut down everything here and go back to Van Horn! Mr. Vo’s “internship†was most interesting. From his small rural community in Vietnam to Van Horn!
How amazing. Wish I could sit down with him and have a long conversation.
No longer can I attend mass at St. Luke’s Catholic Church here. Father Desmond Daniels brings the sacraments to my home. Fr. Desy is from India.
Like Mr. Vo, Fr. Desy has a different outlook of life than we Americans do. I am truly blessed.
I read everything written on the first page, and other articles throughout this ADVOCATE. In these latter years of mine, Van Horn has come to mean more and more to me, thanks mainly due to your newspaper.
