Benjamin Sanchez, 63, entered into eternal life on Monday, July 20, 2015.
Viewing was held on Wednesday, July 22, 2015 from 5 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at Templo Elim with Prayer Service led by Pastor Ricardo Perez at 7 p.m. Funeral Service was on Thursday, July 24, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. led by Pete Solis at Templo Elim. Holy burial followed the Service at Van Horn Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers were: Arturo Sanchez, Sr., Ramon Sanchez, Raul Sanchez, Harvey Juarez, Alvino Sanchez and Oscar Baltazar. Funeral services entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home of Fort Stockton.
Mr. Sanchez was born on April 5, 1952 in Pilares, Mexico to Francisco Sanchez and Manuela Garcia Sanchez. On April 6, 1994 in Van Horn, Texas, Benjamin entered into marriage with Maria Enedina Ornelas. He was an equipment operator and worked for several years with Dal-Tile. Benjamin was a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend who will be greatly missed but will forever remain in our hearts.
Benjamin is preceded in death by his parents Francisco and Manuela Sanchez.
Benjamin is survived by his wife Maria Sanchez of Van Horn, Texas, daughters, Stephanie Urbina and Husband Harvey of Andrews, Texas, Marisol Abreo and Husband Emilio of Van Horn, Texas, Ines Vargas and Husband Jose of Van Horn, Texas, and Erica Marie Juarez and Husband Harvey of Gardendale, Texas; his son, Little Ben Sanchez of Midland, Texas; his brothers, Arturo Sanchez and Delia of Van Horn, Oscar Baltazar and Rosa Maria of Houston, Texas, Raul Sanchez and Teresa of Andrews, Texas, Ervey Garcia of Odessa, Texas, Ramon Sanchez and Nena of Andrews, Texas; Sisters, Alicia Gonzales and Doroteo of Van Horn, Texas, Rosa Jimenez and Alvaro of Carlsbad, New Mexico, Cynthia and Francisco Jimenez of Andrews, Texas, Lupe and David Carrasco of Van Horn, Texas; 15 Grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and many friends.
