350 prospective Jurors were called for court Monday and only 203 either appeared, claimed exemptions or had disqualifications. The 147 no-shows will be issued a separate summons to appear said Judge Francisco Dominguez of the 205th District Court. Explanations for absence will be considered and the Judge will determine valid excuses or whether a fine of $150 to $500 will be imposed. The Clerk’s Office cannot accept excuses at this point so those in error will need to wait for the summons and appear before the Court.
