We would like your attendance and input at the public meeting in Van Horn on August 8th at 7:00 pm at the Van Horn Convention Center. Proposed rule changes for chronic wasting disease (CWD) zones and movement of deer/deer carcasses from areas with CWD whether in state or out of state are on the agenda.
The proposed rules are available for review in their entirety in the public comment section of the TPWD web site http://tpwd.texas.gov/business/feedback/public_comment/
and are scheduled for publication in the Aug. 5 issue of the Texas Register.
I f you can’t make it to the meeting, please know you can still provide comment at other upcoming open meetings, online at http://tpwd.texas.gov/business/feedback/public_comment/ or in writing to TPWD, CWD Rules Public Comment, 4200 Smith School Road, Austin, TX 78744, and in person at that address during the Texas Parks and Wildlife Commission public hearing Aug. 24 at 9 a.m.
