An El Paso man died in a crash Wednesday night. The crash happened just after 11 p.m. about 30 miles east of Dell City. Officials with the Texas Department of Public Safety said Rodolfo Calderon-Hernandez was driving a Nissan pickup truck west onU.S. 62 when for unknown reasons, he veered into the lanes of oncoming traffic. A truck pulling a semi-trailer was headed east and struck Hernandez. Hernandez died at the scene, TXDPS said. The driver of the semi-truck was identified as Satish Kumar, 31, of Canada. He was treated for minor injuries. TXDPS said both drivers were wearing seat belts at the time of the crash.
