Members of the Culberson County 4-H were on task at the Far West Texas Association of Soil and Water Conservation Districts meeting recently. Local Association Board Members Earl Baker, President, Vance Cottrell, Vice President, Lane Brewster, Secretary, Edwin Easley and Kyle Koch, Members along with Summer Webb, District Clerk, hosted the event attended by area conservation districts.
High Point Soil provided a generous donation to the 4-H Club for their efforts and they continue to support these youth, granting financial assistance for educational opportunities such as, Texas 4-H Congress, Texas Coastal, Bobwhite and Ranch Brigades. Opportunities that have allowed our 4-H members to reach for club goals and develop life skills that help them succeed in life including leadership, responsibility, dedication, communication and self-confidence building.
