I would like to thank everybody in the community for both your support and donations. I also want to offer a special thanks to the Culberson County Junior Livestock Association. Without the hard work and effort on their part, our show would not have been such a success.

Every county livestock show provides numerous opportunities to the members of each respective 4-H Club. I believe the county show is an essential step in preparing 4-H members for their future by teaching them how to succeed by taking the proper initiative. I always tell our kids that practice never makes perfect. Practice only makes for better practice by constantly improving. With all of that said there is nothing that gives me more joy than seeing some of these kids having a good time during the show. All of their time and hard work combined with the support of the community offers such a bright outlook for the Culberson County 4-H Club as well as the future of Van Horn.
