Obituary— Hilario B. Diaz
Hilario B. Diaz passed away on Saturday, June 6, 2020 at St. Giles Nursing Home in El Paso, Texas at the age of 90 years old. Hilario was born on October 21, 1929 in Puebla Santa Clara, Jalisco to Pablo Beltran and Pascuala Diaz.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 20, 2020 at 10:00 am at the Van Horn Cemetery Gazebo with inurnment following.
Hilario had a great love for farming, raising cattle and gardening. He loved to spend most of his day outdoors working in his yard and drinking coffee with his beloved wife and family.
Hilario is preceded in death by his parents Pablo and Pascula Dias; one daughter Maribel Ortiz and one son David Ibarra.
He is survived by his wife of 33 years Elisa Diaz; his sons Porfirio Badillo of Eagle, Colorado, David Badillo of Van Horn, Moises Badillo of Van Horn, Ramiro Badillo of Van Horn and Samuel Badillo of Van Horn; his daughters Rosa Emma Urias of Van Horn, Paula Ruiz of Van Horn and Gregoria Corrales of Van Horn; his brothers Juan Diaz of Jalisco, Mexico, Mariano Diaz of Ocotlan, Mexico and Candido Diaz of Ocotlan, Mexico as well as numerous grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Hilario was a devoted husband, father, grandpa and friend. His memory will be cherished by all those whose life he touched.
Services have been entrusted to Heritage Funeral Home in Van Horn, Texas.
