2022 Livestock Show results

This year the Culberson County Livestock Show had 13 exhibitors including Cory Bell, Kimber Bell, Avery Buetow, JoHannah Carroll, Ashely Crow, Charleigh Engle, Lane Medina, Jazmyne Mora, Brenten Linsley, M.J. Tyrrell, Joley Tyrrell, Garry Webb, and Ora Webb.

The auction sales came in at about $50,000 (including add-on bids) with the following results: Grand Champion Swine – Charleigh Engle, Reserve Grand Champion Swine – Lane Medina, Breed Champion Chester (Swine) – Jazmyne Mora, Breed Champion Duroc (Swine) – Ashely Crow, Reserve Breed Champion Hampshire (Swine) – Garry Webb, Reserve Breed Champion Cross (Swine) – Ora Webb, with the 1st Place Cross (Swine) going to Cory Bell.

Rabbits auction results are as follows: Grand Champion Single Fryer Rabbit – M.J. Tyrrell, Reserve Grand Champion Single Fryer Rabbit – Avery Buetow, Reserve Breed Champion Californian – Joley Tyrrell, 2nd Place Single Fryer (Rabbit) – Kimber Bell, 4th Place Single Fryer (Rabbit) – Brenten Linsley, Breeder Rabbit Californian- JoHannah Carroll.

Poultry auction Grand Champion Pen of Three Chickens went to M.J. Tyrrell.

The 2022 Livestock Show Rookie of the Year is Ashely Crow, Herdsman award went to Garry Webb, and the Livestock Queen this year is Avery Buetow.
