Adan C. Ornelas, 47, passed away on June 5, 2013 in Midland, TX. He was
born in Pilares, Mexico on November 17, 1966. Adan is survived by his
parents Cruz and Josepha Venegas of Van Horn, three sons; Adrian and
Adan Ornelas Jr. of Ojinaga Mexico, Rene Vasquez of Kermit. Also his
three daughters: Adriana and Estella Ornelas of Midland, Lucero Ornelas
of Ojinaga, Adan is also survived by his three brothers: Genaro Ornelas
of Kermit, Chavelo Ornelas of McCamey, Chuy Ornelas of Crane, six
sisters: Manuela Ornelas and Margarita Rodriguez of Kermit, Ermila
Venegas of Odessa, Maria Sanchez of Van Horn, Jacinta Bustos of McCamey,
Rosa Emma Ornelas of Siminole, and one grandson, Nayven Andres Ocon. A
funeral mass, officiated by Father Mark Salas, was held on June 10, 2013
at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Van Horn, burial fallowed at
Van Horn Cemetery. Pallbearers were his nephews: Chavelo Ornelas Jr.,
Daniel Ornelas, Lil Ben Sanchez, Rey Ornelas, Freddy Ornelas, and. Jesus
Ornelas. Honorary pallbearers were his nephews: Teofilo Venegas, Chris
Ornelas and Adolfo Valles, and his son- in-law Ramiro Ocon. Funeral
services were entrusted to Carrillo Funeral Home of Van Horn.
