Congratulations to the 2013 Valedictorian Imisha Bhakta. She
qualified for another scholarship given by Jack and Tracy Dorris. The
Dorris' presented Ms. Bhakta with a check for $2,000 at the Boys &
Girls Club last Monday.
“I am glad that a golfer took advantage of our scholarship by having
good grades, concentrating only on golf, went into the post season with
her game, and being a true leader. Imisha is a good, smart, and fine
person; I hope she reaches her dreams,” said Mr. Dorris.
This is the first year for this scholarship. It will be available to
any female Eagle golfer who can meet the following qualifications:
* Must graduate in the top ten of their class.
* Only sport that is played is girls high school golf
* Must make the post season playoffs (Regionals, State)
* Must be an outstanding student. (Leader, role model)
