Obituary – OJ Carrillo

Luis Orlando “OJ” Carrillo Jr., passed away in El Paso on November 7, 2013. He was born on July 15, 2003 in El Paso and was a lifetime resident of Van Horn. He was a loving and amazing son. The life lessons he taught will follow his friends and family forever. He was a brave person and had a smile that would make everyone love him. He touched the lives of many people and taught them that no matter the circumstance, you fight until you can't fight any longer. As much as he endured, not one time did he complain. OJ will be truly missed and always loved by his parents, friends and family. He is survived by his parents Luis Orlando Carrillo Sr. and Maricel B. Tarango of Van Horn. A funeral mass was held on November 11, 2013 at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Van Horn. A burial followed at the Van Horn Cemetery. Pallbearers were Poli Carrillo, Moe Carrillo, Tony Carrillo, Rodey Durbin, Alex Tarango and David Durbin. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Carrillo Funeral Home.
