Senior forward Kianna Fierro was voted to the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches Girls’ All Region Team for Class 2A Region 1. This award signifies she is one of the top 20 players in our region. This is quite an accomplishment for this young lady who has strived her entire career on and off the court.
For her high school career, Fierro averaged 16 points per game as well as seven rebounds per game. She finished off a great senior year by amassing 1,338 points and 601 total boards. This season, Fierro was voted as the 2A District 6 Most Valuable Player.
“I am thankful to have received this award and blessed to have been a part of the Lady Eagle basketball program,†said Fierro. She would also like to thank her family, teammates, and coaches for pushing her to be the athlete she is today. “I am very excited to play at the collegiate level and very thankful for everyone who has supported me.â€
