Investigation continues into I-10 shooting that injured truck driver

A shooting occurred on I-10 on June 2 in Hudspeth County on mile marker 132. 

According to DPS officials, a person driving a gold passenger vehicle fired at least three rounds at a passing semi-truck, and the driver of the semi-truck, a male, was struck twice.

The semi-truck driver was transported to Culberson Hospital later trasnferred to an El Paso hospital. He is in stable condition. Authorities from DPS, Border Patrol and the Texas Rangers are conducting an investigation to locate the perpetrator driving the gold car. The Rangers are the primary investigative body for this incident.
