The FFA Vet Science team traveled to San Angelo State University on Friday to compete in the Area 2 Vet Science Contest. The students are part of Van Horn Schools Veterinarian Assistant Certification Program. They are required to perform a practical demonstration, instrument identification, identify several species of animals. identify organs from various species and also many different parasites that affect animals. These students worked hard all year and finished very strong for their first year. First place at Big Bend District and 18th place at Area 2. They did a wonderful job. Congratulations Van Horn FFA Vet Science Team.
