In a cooperative effort from area law enforcement including the Hudspeth County and Culberson County Sheriff’s Departments, an identified pickup was stopped in Van Horn at approximately 8:00 p.m. Tuesday evening. A secondary search revealed a Class B misdemeanor amount of marijuana and a felony possession of a controlled substance amount of methamphetamine. The occupants of the truck that were arrested on the allegations are Refugio Renteria, 27 and William Oliver, 50 of Van Horn. Oliver is currently out on bonds for drug charges stemming from a June 2016 arrest.
