Eagle Golfers competed on Monday at the Wink Invitational. They came out ready for battle once again and gave every effort to make a run at 1st place. Senior, Roman Rocha placed 3rd, Senior Rafael Rodriguez placed 4th and Junior, Daniel Solis placed 9th. Senior, Lezlie Jones placed 2nd, Freshman, Annika Corralez placed 4th and Junior, Justice Santa Cruz placed 10th. Both teams came away with second place finishes just shy of first place.
The Eagle Golf teams have prepared well this season for another run at the District Title. They continue to show great promise and are putting in the time and effort it takes to move up to the next level. This year we will go up against Iraan, Wink and McCamey. It will take effort from each and everyone of our team members to earn our District Championship this year, but I am more than confident that our teams are up for the challenge. Tee times are set for 9:00 a.m. Monday, April 10. Let’s go Eagles!
