The information presented in this newsletter was gathered from federal and state sources and pertains to the El Paso MSA, the Workforce Solutions Borderplex region, and the City of El Paso.
As a small business owner, I depend on the workforce board’s labor market reports to drive decisions and forecast the health of our regional economy. While the El Paso area has seen great strides towards moving the needle in the right direction for job creation, by looking at the average weekly wage by quarter on page 5, you can see that there is still work that needs to be done to catch up to the state and U.S. averages.
The board will continue to analyze data so that we can continue to gage our region towards a thriving economy.
