Lady Eagle Volleyball is officially underway. We have been working extremely hard to get things moving along this season. Our numbers this season are much smaller than years before, but the girls we do have been fully invested in the program and are ready to do work! Returning, we have five seniors, two juniors, four sophomores and six new freshmen, all eager to work through the many challenges this season will bring.

Last season the Lady Eagles brought the District Championship back home and we are excited to continue the hard work to defend it. The challenges this season is bringing has already changed the mindset of our girls and our coaches. We are not taking any moment, practice, day, etc., for granted as we continue to move further along. We are maintaining a positive outlook and we hope to not only have the opportunity to complete this season, but to have the chance to make it well into the playoffs.

We will be traveling to Presidio next Tuesday, September 8 for our first game of this season to take on the Lady Blue Devils. Our first home game will be Saturday, September 12 against Alpine. Look out for more information regarding rules for spectators and live-streaming. We look forward to getting into a routine again and bringing some energy and excitement back into our community. Our Lady Eagles are raising the bar this season, indeed, and are eager to get on the court for some much-needed competition. We hope to see you at the games supporting our Van Horn Eagles!
