This past weekend April Padilla and the Varsity Boy's Cross Country team traveled to Lubbock to compete in the 2013 Region 1 Cross Country Championships.
April finished 2nd overall in the varsity girls race with a new personal best time of 12:09.75. April is a State Qualifier once again this year and is planning to race for the gold at the State Cross Country Championships in Round Rock this Saturday, Nov. 8.
