I know the election is over, but I work with a collegue that voted for Trump and he has not stopped gloating since he won. I, on the other hand, was a rabid Hillary supporter who is trying to move on and make the best of it for the next four years. Now, I have to listen to FOX News all day and listen about Trump the whole work day. Aside from the Trump obcession, my coworker is extremely nice and we have always had a good work relationship which I would like to continue, but at this rate, I will be lucky not to be arrested for assault. How can I keep my sanity for the next four years?
Be patient. Trump supporters have waited a long time and feel vindicated by his victory. After his inauguration, 24-7 coverage of him will become boring and you will have your friend back to hash over important things like the latest episode of “The Walking Dead.”
