Obituary— Edward Lee Brooks
Edward Lee “Eddie” Brooks passed away on December 25, 2019 in El Paso, Texas after a lengthy illness. He was born on December 03, 1953 to Edward Lee Brooks, Sr. and Nora Ann Brooks in Van Horn, Texas. Eddie had two sons, James Robert and David Michael. He was employed in El Paso with the Santa Fe Railroad and was a master mechanic (like his father), a truck driver, and operated a salvage yard in Van Horn.
Eddie is preceded in death by his father and his brother Gary Brooks and only a month after his death by his mother Nora Ann Brooks. He is survived by his eldest brother Vernon White and wife Bonnie of Oklahoma, his two sons Jim Bob and Davey of Durant, Oklahoma; three grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
