City Secretary Fran Malafronte on Tuesday announced candidates for municipal and school board seats. The election will be held on Saturday, May 9.
Candidates running for city alderman include: Marcial Gonzales (Incumbent), Nuny Morriss (Incumbent), Pam Young (Incumbent), Ryan Martinez , Michael Garibay, and Lyndon McDonald.
Candidates running for school board include: Lisa Cottrell (Incumbent), Rocio Oñate (Incumbent) and Jack Dorris.
Early voting begins on Monday, April 27 at City Hall.
